You may have noticed that Boudoir Photography in Galena cost more than a portrait photography session, and probably higher than you expected. This experience, like any personalized professional service, is guided by a professional boudoir photographer that has years of experience mastering in lighting, posing, retouching, and offering a guided client journey.
Yes, a professional boudoir session is absolutely worth the investment. Its about confidence, presence, and honoring a moment in your life that deserves to be remembered. Yes, many clients use the images as a gift for their partner, but what stays with you far longer is how you begin to see yourself. It becomes a turning point. At it’s core, a boudoir session, is an investment in self-worth, self-acceptance, and the way you carry yourself long after the session ends.
A boudoir session is one of the most powerful experiences you can have. Many ladies are celebrating a milestone; getting married or divorced, birthday, or just want to own your confidence.
It's more then photography, it's a journey of self-empowerment and discovery.
Typical boudoir sessions last 1-2 hours, but can HUMA can add an additional hour. I often photograph 2-3 hours, depending on how many outfits, your comfort level, and lighting styles you have chosen.
The photos you decide to keep will up to you. Our collections pricing is based from the number of images you’d like and what format you’d like them in; folio prints, album, or wall art.
No, the contract explicitly states that your images will remain private, unless you offer written permission for our studio to use any image for marketing.
Yes, we do offer payment plans to fit your needs. Your images will be delivered swiftly following payment in full.
Yes, you will receive a digital file with each printed image you order.
The simple answer is no; we believe these images should be treasured in print. Printed images in the form of wall art, folio boxes, albums and gift items are meant to live in your hands, not your screen,
I highly recommend utilizing a hair and makeup artist (HUMA) for your luxury boudoir session. It isn't about looking beautiful, it's about feeling it. A professional HUMA is dedicated to helping you relax and knows exactly how to style you so your best features shine on camera, ensuring your final images are polished and timeless.
I believe every "body" is photogenic. I'm here to guide you through posing to showcase your assets in the best light. Besides, if you my clients didn't love their images, they won't buy any!
Maybe you just haven't found the right photographer yet...
If you feel more comfortable bringing a friend for your session, you may. We will discuss all aspects of your session during our design consultation, and if you still are anxious, bring a friend.
A typical session includes 4-5 outfits, but bring as many as you'd like. After HUMA, we'll arrange each outfit and plan the order. Some clients bring in a full suitcase filled with outfits, shoes, stockings, jewelry, and props.
Most clients are a bit anxious about their session. To relieve the nerves, we start with the outfit that covers you the most. We'll start with basic posing instruction and I will demonstrate every pose. It often takes 10-15 minutes to begin feeling comfortable in front of the camera. After a few shots, I'll share the images from the back of my camera so you can see what we are capturing. As we move through our time, your confidence will begin to shine.
